Kid's Church

Why

Our Sunday Morning "Kid's Church" meets in two large rooms, each age/grade appropriate.  It is a valuable opportunity to assist parents in teaching children about God, creation, the bible, Jesus, the gospel, as well as biblical principles to live by.  Each class is organized by age/grade (4/5 years through Kindergarten and first grade through fifth grade).  The curriculum is published be Group Children's Ministry Publishers or Lifeway Christian Resources.  Each lesson contains music children love, a lesson from the Bible, interactive crafts, game time, and prayer time.

When

Kids Church runs simultaneously with the 10:00 AM Worship Service.  This allows parents and/or guardians to experience the worship service without distraction, and with confidence that their children are experiencing a fun, learning environment in church at an age appropriate level.  Parents are requested to pick-up their children upon the conclusion of the worship service.

Who

Our Kids Church team members are mature adult men & women (background check certified).  They are often assisted by teenagers who are responsible and know how to have fun.  All of them are growing Christians, who love children.  Each class consists of a team (teacher, music leader, craft specialist) who is held accountable in the areas of classroom preparation and Christian lifestyle.  Each Kids Church service is manned by at least two/three qualified team members and assistants.  Our Kids Church team members serve one week a month for the year (12 weeks a year).  This rotation allows our Kids Church team members to experience corporate worship three out of four weeks a month or 3/4 of the year.
